Hamiltonian Group was retained by R. J. Lee Group, a Pittsburgh-based materials characterization and laboratory testing firm, to support an innovative project for an industry-leading oil and gas producer. This project required fusing data streams from computed tomography, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) modalities. Novel machine learning-based image segmentation was developed and implemented to inform application-specific analytics.
