BIO
David is a research scientist and inventor. He founded HG in 2016 in order to tackle novel and challenging problems for industry, consulting groups, and government research laboratories, alike. HG’s project engagements are as diverse as its client base and span efforts in business intelligence, product development, and fundamental scientific research. His expertise includes statistical methods (AI / ML), computer vision, edge computing, materials science, and scientific communication. He also advises founders and investors on emerging technologies.

BIO
Paul is a computational astrophysicist specializing in numerical methods, machine learning, and pipelining multi-terabyte data streams. In addition to consulting on HG projects, he is an Assistant Professor-in-Residence at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His research projects focus on cosmological simulations of the early universe, and comparing them with real-world observations from the HERA radio telescope and Simons Observatory cosmic microwave background telescope. He also leads the Radio Astronomy Software Group and contributes to several open-source software projects.
